Google Chrome

  1. Launch Group Policy Editor in your windows server
    Click on Start Menu and Select Run, Type gpedit.msc to open the group policy editor
  2. Select the Group Policy Object that applies to all users in your target domain.
  3. Navigate to {Target Group Policy}> User Configuration > Administrative Templates.
  4. Check if Google Chrome template exists already. It will be under one of the below two folders;
    i. Administrative Templates > Google > Google Chrome
    ii. Classic Administrative Templates > Google > Google Chrome
    If it is not there then follow the below steps to import the template
      - Download Google Chrome ADM/ADM X templates from here - https://support.google.com/chrome/a/answer/187202?hl=en

             - Extract the policy_templates.zip file after downloading.
             - Right click on Administrative Templates(in group policy editor) and select Add/Remove Templates.


            - Click on Add and Navigate to the folder where you extracted the template files. Choose ADM or ADMX folder based on whatever is applicable for your server OS. (if you're using computers with an operating system newer than Windows Server 2003 select the ADMX folder otherwise select the ADM folder). 


6. Navigate to {Target Group Policy}> User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Google > Google Chrome > Extensions

You will see the below entry on the main panel(refer image below).

Configure the list of force-installed extensions.

Right click > Edit > Select Enabled > Show > Add appropriate values > Ok > Ok
NoteValues will be provided by CS Team.


Next time the users login to the system using the domain login, they will have letzNav extension installed on their chrome browsers.
