Workflow Balloons

This article covers the best practices that can be applied to the content of the balloon, unique cases and things to avoid for a workflow balloon.




Header and Body:

  • While designing workflows try to keep the heading short and direct, preferably restricted to 3 words.
  • The content of the balloon should clearly indicate what must be done, as an action to the pointed element and supplemental information if required to complete the said action.



Unique Cases and Things to avoid:

  • Avoid duplicating the Heading in the content section. Ensure the Content/Description has proper verbiage.

  • For lookup fields, Try to list all steps to select the required data to prevent too many user clicks.
